The vision of the Chattanooga Sustainable Farmers is that local farms will be economically sustainable, resulting in a vibrant agricultural system that benefits farmers, the community and the land that supports us.

Mission
Farms and farming are integral to the health of the environment, the culture, the local economy and serve as a cornerstone to build community as a whole.

It is important to farm as if place matters, farming in concert with natural soils, climate and the unique ecosystem of an area.

The Chattanooga Sustainable Farmers will exist for and be governed by farmers and will foster a sense of belonging and equal treatment among members.

Farmer members will work toward sustainability of their products and practices, will disclose their farming practices, and will be open to new practices and methods.
